We need to support our local dealers and shops, and we need them to support us.

  1. Racers go through parts, and quite often are in a time crunch to get what they need quick, so they run down to their local dealer to get what they need.

  2. Fans like to see their racing heroes. As the community builds up its top racers, those racers need to be available to help with promotions... and dealers and shops have a venue that can accomodate these get togethers.

  3. Street riders look towards the track riders for advice on performance parts. This is the rider's opportunity to recommend where to go to get the parts and who to use to install them.

  • Typically, dealers or shops will not come up with these ideas on their own... but they are likely to be receptive if they are approached. Our message should be clear... we are wanting to help the sport to grow (a message they also will like to hear and hopefully be a part of).

  • Ideally, we should offer some guidelines that are supported by organizations, racers, and dealers - so we can maintain consistent messaging.

  • These events are where opportunities are made to talk about track days, racing, and the various paths available to either get started or come and watch. Event tickets should be made available, so folks can commit early to attend.
