RDR Video Series: Episode 3 - Prep and Practice

Length: 15:52 minutes

This episode starts off with more bikes, and then goes into the various upgrades to prep two of the bikes (R3 and R6) to race. We show some snippets from spending time with friends, going through some of the finer parts of prepping the bikes required specifically for racing. You get to see some never before posted photos of Larry's little crash at the end of season 2. You will see some cool footage from an endurance race we covered. Larry had to face some fears in 2019 and we share the most difficult thing we have had to deal with in this quest. We introduce you to Carol Carpenter of MotoVixens at our first time riding with them, and followed that up with them again at a JP43 Instruction class with Jason Pridmore and his team - and you will hear snippets from our interviews.

PIR Race Experience from Pit Exit, Hot Pit, Starting Grid, Race, and Exit to Pit with Yamaha R6 at Portland

Length: 9:22 minutes

This is the quickest way I could give you a taste of leaving the pits, staging the bike on the hot pit, gridding up for the race, the race start, parts of the lap (including full first and last lap), and the exit back to the pit... which documents my first ever race with my Yamaha R6. I had front and rear 360 cameras and used them to show some different views to capture the key moments.

Video -Yamaha R1, R6, and R3 One Lap Comparison at Portland International Raceway from 2018 to 2019

Yamaha R1, R6, and R3 One Lap Comparison at Portland International Raceway from 2018 to 2019

Length: 2:48 minutes

I wanted to see how my progress stacked up since working hard this year to get my racing license, so I put together this quad view to show my 2018 lap with my Yamaha R1 and my Yamaha R3, compared to this year's first time with my R6 (this is the third track day I've done with my R6 and I'm still sorting it out). I spend most of my time on my R3 these days trying to improve. Notice that I hit 167 mph on my R1 at the end of the straight before turn 1 in 2018, then notice how even though I only hit around 110 mph on my R3 at the end of the straight - I made time up in the corners in 2019... and that I exited turn 9 with the R3 before the R1.
