2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300

I had been hearing from my track day buddies that one of the best ways to get better at PIR is to get a small bike and do small tracks. So one of the bikes I went after in the off season was a Kawasaki Ninja 300 for the 2018 season. I found a used 2014 that only had 1000 miles on it. What were some of the reasons that he chose this bike?

  • My track day friends ride Ninjas and said they worked great on the small track - they suggested the 300;
  • It has Fuel Injection, so no manual choke and better tuning options;
  • The small Ninjas are proven on small tracks, and they have a huge following so lots of aftermarket products to choose from;
